True self-development has two main parts

True self-development has two main parts and like the wings of a bird both are required if we are to fly. Both parts are required if you are to develop more meaningful and satisfying relationships with others and with everything in our life.  These two wings are:

  1. the development of self-awareness to increase our capacity to feel and experience ourselves at increasingly more refined levels
  2. the capacity to gain a degree of control over our body, energy, mind and emotions, and our behaviour and intention

The four stages of self-development

It is not wise to try to get rid of all of your old negative habits and patterns. There is a better way. We show you how to modify and integrate old patterns of thinking, emotion, feeling and behaviour into new, healthier and more satisfying patterns.

Stage 1 - Learn to relax and develop self-control

The first stage is to learn about the relationship between the body and mind, to observe our patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour. You learn to relax and to feel that you have some sense of control over your body-mind and outer life. This is called self-regulation, the ability to create positive changes in our thinking, emotions, heart rate and blood pressure, and so on. Stage 2 - Create positive joyful patterns

In the second stage you learn how to cultivate your energy and inner strength. You build greater health of body and mind and a powerful resilient inner core that can handle the slaps and blows of life with greater skill and confidence. This gives you a sense of control over your life and the knowledge that you are not at the mercy of fate or forces beyond your control. Stage 3 - Stay grounded while facing the difficulties of life

In the third stage you use the skills from the previous stage learn to remain strong and grounded while you face and deal with destructive patterns. These techniques are found in the Core Strength Calm Mind CD/MP3. This starts a process of purification and change. Just being self-aware and present with your old patterns creates positive change. The techniques in this section empower you to break down and transform old neurological, chemical, mental and emotional patterns of the body-mind into newer and more functional patterns of being.

Stage 4 - Develop self-mastery

This stage leads to self-mastery. By practicing and embodying the techniques and skills in this section they become second nature and available when you need them most. You learn to hold old negative patterns in relationship with new and positive patterns. You use your strengths to work on your weaknesses and the energy and potential in the old pattern is integrated into you.

Forge an authentic relationship with spirit

Self-development work requires a relationship with our spirit and higher consciousness. Our approach allows you to forge an authentic relationship and integrate an awareness of spirit into your self-development work. You will move towards a purposeful life and the discovery of all the wonderful things that lie within you.
