    Product Description

The Chakras CD contains authentic chakra meditations that develop inner security, joy, contentment, power, compassion, wisdom and higher purpose. The chakras are psychic energy centres located in the spine. Chakra meditation is a form of concentration meditation (dharana). Concentration focuses our energy, mind and awareness onto a symbol. The symbol becomes charged with energy and meaning and is brought to life within us. By learning to feel, visualise and balance the chakras, and all the powerful mystical elements contained within them, we awaken a potent inner power (shakti) and lift ourselves to a higher plane of consciousness.

The Seven Energies Chakra Chart is used as a tool to enhance your meditation and inner illumination. Scan the symbols at the beginning of your meditation practice. Then focus on one chakra at a time. Starting from the base chakra move your awareness upward to the crown and then back down to the base. Simultaneously place your awareness in your spine in the region of that chakra. You can also breathe into and out of this area while chanting the name of that chakra mentally or using a mantra.

    Testimonial

"My experiences with Chakra Shuddhi meditations revealed that they are powerful practices indeed. Overall, it seems to me that Swami Shankardev is offering a deep and authentic meditation for whatever level a student might be working at."
