An English version of a traditional Sanskrit song, it was recorded to acknowledge and celebrate consciousness, love and wisdom of all true teachers of spirit that pass through our world. Originally, this song was inspired by the tantric master, Osho, after meeting with him in 1978.
Sharman Okan, (Swami Shishyananda Saraswati), has been chanting for 35 years. She lived as a sannyasin, in a Yoga Ashram for twelve years as a teenager and young adult where she learned to chant sacred mantras as a path to healing and a freeway to enlightenment and ecstasy. Sharman continues to lead live chanting (kirtan) - she intimately understands the intricacies of the chant and, with the power of her voice and her devotional nature, creates a space for others to transform and heal.
